From the 7th to the 11th of september 2015 jew's harp player Danibal was artist in residence in the Torenkamer (Tower Room) at Vondel CS, Amsterdam. The goal was to step out of the live improv Danibal is known for and to take the time to dive into recording new tracks. These sessions with sizzling jew's harps, pulsing live loops and some urban yodels resulted in Kladderadatsch! — an onomatopoeia meaning Crash! Or better yet, the clattering sound of emptying a full cutlery drawer onto the floor.
